Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator. She was a former political candidate and a television host at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in the month of May that they'd be leaving the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a co-host along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball credits her ongoing fascination with politics to her experience as a newly-wed mother during the primaries of 2008. She also viewed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was working in Jordan. She witnessed how it affected the people in that country and developed an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May 2017.
