Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara has been awarded a range of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also won two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress when she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Alongside John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the principal cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). The show received critical acclaim both for her writing abilities and acting, and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. O'Hara was included in the new Second City artistic Advisory Board that was headed by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jane Lynch. Tim Meadows. Peter Murrieta. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
