Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson of the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 to 2020. Psaki's career started in 2001 when she began working in the reelection campaign of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki then served as deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential election campaign. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012, serving as the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 13. [20] There was speculation Psaki was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. She was named Communications Director at the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end in 2015.
